About Mary-Beth Smith & Floor Seven Art

Floor Seven Art, was inspired during a challenging time in my life.  At the age of  50, married with two daughters who had just recently graduated from college, I was diagnosed with cancer.  I was treated by the amazing medical team at Mass General Hospital on Floor 7.   In 2016 after 5 years of treatment and remission I was deemed cured by my oncologist at MGH (on 7/7/2016).

Once I was considered cured I realized I wanted to spend my time giving back to causes I feel passionate about.  For me those causes are the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Nature Conservancy and the Merrimack Valley YMCA.

Floor Seven Art represents hope.  When I was cured of cancer I felt a sense of hope, gratitude and determination I hadn’t experienced before.  These paintings are my way to spread kindness and hope with the rest of the world.

My art work is made using a process called giclee, which is a high quality print of my original paintings!
